“It’s not about the Dress you wear, but the life you lead in The Dress” – Diana Vreeland
Hey Lovely People,
I am sure you guys must have experienced and like that feeling which makes you so overwhelmed and makes you feel quite satisfactory when you spend your day so well. Especially when you meet your idols and look at their creations, all together in one hall, we love that kind of beautiful halls, we want to live forever in those halls, sleep in it, breathe in it. Even though we sound like a freak show right now, it was such an amazing experience to meet Indian Fashion Designers who make you look outstanding, even if it’s your special (wedding) day or your close ones. They make you look beautiful and everyone wants to look pretty.
One of the pros that we feel are, if you are born in India, you know those traditional outfits more than you know about your country and what’s going around. There is something so sexy about our Indian dressing that gives a WOW factor, no matter what size you are or to what background you belong, wearing one of the creations of Indian Gods and Goddess “the designers” and their team just make you go crazy. They have the talent to make a simple embellished swatch into something entirely out of this world. It’s so right when they say, “Love of beauty is taste. The creation of beauty is art”.
Indian beauty is when renowned all over the world but a girl in her Indian wedding dresses can never compete with any worldly beauties. There is nothing that you won’t love about Indian Wedding’s or Indian Brides or Indian Designers or Indian Jewellery or VOGUE WEDDING SHOW. It was incredible!
Little big about the event, those of who are still wondering what it is all about, it’s a 3-day luxurious wedding exhibition which showcases all the finest, latest and most exclusive services in the bridal world at Taj Palace, New Delhi. It has everything from wedding planners to chocolates to dresses, jewellery and much more. So basically you can make your wedding day more special than ever by joining the Vogue Wedding Show, but entry is by invitation only 😉
So here we are sharing our experience of the VOGUE WEDDING SHOW – India’s most exclusive bridal extravaganza with you guys to whom we love dearly. Starting from what we wore to the end of it.
So if you guys follow us Instagram, you probably must have seen this already. We were dressed very casually and comfortably. I wore an off-shoulder white dress from Next with a denim long jacket along with my Adidas Originals Superstar shoes with a choker and small accessories on my jacket from H&M. Whereas Aditi was wearing a vertical striped jumpsuit from El Corte Ingles with a pink blazer from Oxolloxo. Isn’t that chic? We love what we wore and really hope you guys love it too.
so here are few of our pictures, have fun!
So after a long drive to Taj Hotel, New Delhi to start our Vogue journey, we entered into the world of Heaven. It was beautiful, people were curious to see the new collection of 2016, every girl out there had a glimmer in their eyes when they were checking out Anita Dongre, Shantanu & Nikhil, Manish Malhotra, Sabyasachi, Varun Bahl, Tarun Tahiliani, Amarapali, Bespoke, Khanna Jewelers and many more. If these names are making your eyes popped then imagine seeing them in person would have taken your breath away.
Entrance of the Vogue Wedding Show was incredible, why because we feel “life is better with beetle in it” 😉
Whatever we will say will be less, so let the pictures talk for themselves.
We had an interesting conversation with Anita Dongre and Shantanu & Nikhil.
Shantanu and Nikhil both are sweet as candy and so friendly but their designs are incredible and earthy as nature whereas Anita Dongre is so soft spoken and so adorable but her designs show the depth and how much effort has she put in to make things so pretty. They are awesome.
Had an awesome beautiful time at VOGUE WEDDING SHOW, would have loved if you guys would have joined too. But there is always a next time. Meet you next year guys!
Love you all,
Keep reading the post and liking our pictures and posts.
